This cost-effective, sleek-looking NVR is ideal for small-scale applications where businesses are looking for a reliable, entry-level CCTV video management solution. Featuring an integrated PoE switch with a max 35w budget, up to 4 Hanwha Vision cameras can be connected and powered without the need for extra cables, which can then be monitored through the included Wisenet Viewer software. Suitable to be used as a standalone system, the unit features HDMI and USB ports for external device connection.
Supporting up to 4 Hanwha Vision cameras up to 8MP, users can enjoy ultra-high definition 4K resolution live video and playback at up to 30 frames per second, offering rich, detailed images even of high-movement areas. Footage can be written directly to internal storage with a total capacity of 6TB from 1 hard drive, suitable for smaller installations with a low number of cameras. Local monitor display and a mouse are supported through HDMI and USB ports for a simple PC-less solution.
Basic video management is provided by the included Wisenet Viewer interface, meaning users can easily view, record and export footage, as well as access remotely from mobile devices. For a more advanced solution with more highly customisable features, the Wisenet Wave VMS is supported (via license subscription) which allows users to develop a monitoring system tailored to their specific requirements. Furthermore, snapshots and video clips can be exported via one of two USB ports for further investigation at a later date.
Events detected on cameras can be integrated into the NVR to start pre/post-event recording, or trigger alerts notifying the user, so concerning footage can be investigated immediately or at a later time. Moreover, support for audio-based detection is also included with the connection of an audio-enabled camera, to respond to loud or suspicious sounds in the recording area.
Measuring just 300mm x 47.1mm x 208.4mm, the compact and lightweight form-factor of this NVR lends itself to simple, uncluttered desktop or shelf setup, making it ideal for a wide array of small business applications such as cafes, retail shops, and community centres. The system can easily be setup using the installation wizard, with the NVR directly powering the cameras via PoE, reducing the number of cables needed.
Please note: This Hanwha Vision NVR does not come supplied with a hard disk drive (HDD) unless selected. An optional 6TB WD Purple surveillance-grade hard drive (fitting required) can be selected from the dropdown menu above for internal storage, or the NVR can be purchased as a drive-less unit to use your own HDD. These WD drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications, and the optional disks are sized to offer adequate storage for basic, small application usage.
