Overview of Axis Camera Station S9002 Desktop Terminal

Designed for efficient monitoring in 4K, this desktop terminal by Axis provides a full surveillance workstation solution when combined with either the S1032 Mk II or S1048 Mk II rack-mounted recorders. It’s pre-loaded with all the necessary software including Axis Camera Station 5, as well as a range of pre-configured settings to minimise installation time. The unit also provides an additional 500GB storage alongside the storage that is included with each compatible rack server.

The terminal is able to display three 4K resolution images or a 9 x 1080p split in live view or playback modes across up to four monitors (requires the use of 4K resolution display monitors). When lower resolutions are selected in live view, a maximum of 25 split views can be displayed, offering a very flexible and fully configurable overview for operators.

The Axis Camera Station 5 client software provides effective camera management alongside a range of configurable motion detection alarms for a reliable CCTV surveillance system. ACS 5 now includes video scrubbing technology which provides instant recording retrieval in playback - by simply scrolling through a defined timeline. Additionally, site map support provides a full system layout and responsive PTZ control enables efficient camera navigation.

Up to 25 synchronised camera views are supported to allow the configuration of a number of camera views. This provides an effective scene overview that is beneficial when investigating footage for identification purposes. Additionally, “Smart Search” video functionality enables quick and easy retrieval of data. This data can then be exported manually or at scheduled times to give the operator full control of data management.

This desktop terminal must be used alongside either the Axis S1032 Mk II or S1048 Mk II rack servers.
