The AXIS Q9227-SLV is a robust corner mounted camera built for sensitive and high security environments such as prisons and health facilities. Its 5MP resolution and wide field of view deliver full room coverage with no blind spots, supported by Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR for clear imaging in challenging light. The built in mic and speaker offers reliable two way communication, while AI powered audio and video analytics help improve real-time threat detection for improved incident response. Invisible 940nm IR LEDs illuminate in complete darkness up to 10m range without disturbing occupants. White light LEDs enable full colour video when required. Housed in a stainless steel IP66/IP69 and IK11 rated casing, it withstands impact, dust, and high pressure cleaning making it dependable for demanding indoor environments.
Video & Audio Analytics
AXIS Object Analytics (AOA) accurately detects and classifies humans, helping staff monitor sensitive indoor areas such as cells and corridors. Trained AI algorithms minimise false alarms caused by irrelevant activity, while up to 10 virtual scenarios including line crossing, object in area, and occupancy counting provides actionable insights and rapid alerts to enhance situational awareness and support safer environments.
AXIS Audio Analytics uses trained AI algorithms to detect raised voices, distress, glass break, speech, and coughing fits, providing early insight into escalating situations or health concerns. It enables faster, smarter responses in sensitive high security environments.
This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
