Overview of the Axis Q7404

The Axis Q7404 is a four-channel network video encoder for analogue CCTV cameras. With intelligent video features including video motion detection and active tampering alarm the Axis Q7404 can reduce unnecessary recording of an empty scene and also ensures nothing is missed or overlooked.

With advanced H.264 video compression the Axis Q7404 has minimal impact on your network bandwidth and also reduces storage requirements. Multiple video streams are available from each channel simultaneously in full frame rate and resolution which can be individually configured for suit different needs.

The Axis Q7404 supports PTZ controls for all four channels and is compatible with a wide range of analogue CCTV cameras. Each channel has two configurable input/output terminals for external sensors and alarms and there is two-way audio for one video channel. Like all video encoders available from Network Webcams, the Axis Q7404 video encoder has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
