This high-performance outdoor PTZ camera delivers ultra-clear HD video for proactive coverage of expansive open sites 24-hours a day. With 31× optical zoom it allows precise detection of people and objects even at long distances. The powerful ARTPEC‑9 chipset leverages next generation AI-driven video analytics to detect threats accurately and provide actionable insights, enhancing safety and enabling rapid incident response. Integrated OptimizedIR LEDs enables illumination up to 250m range in complete darkness. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR ensure clear images in low-light and challenging lighting conditions, while AV1 codec support reduces storage and bandwidth needs, making it a smart, efficient solution for critical site monitoring. AXIS Image Health Analytics alerts users of any issues with operation such as a blurred lens or the camera being moved to ensure uninterrupted monitoring.
Video Analytics
Axis Object Analytics (AOA) detects, classifies, and counts humans and vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, and bikes. Combined with PTZ capabilities, the camera can track objects with precise pan, tilt, and zoom, keeping critical areas in view. Edge-based analysis generates rapid alerts for fast incident response, while AI algorithms filter out false alarms from shadows, small animals or falling leaves. Detected objects are highlighted with colour-coded bounding boxes on the VMS. Up to 10 virtual scenarios, like line crossing, object in area, and occupancy, run simultaneously to improve scene awareness and deliver actionable insights.
This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
