Equipped with OptimisedIR LEDs, this camera is able to capture video up to 400m around the camera in complete darkness. The unit is also encased in IP66/68 and IK10-rated housing that meets the MIL-STD-810G standard and can withstand winds up to 152 mph. This unit can deliver full-colour video in extreme low-light conditions using Lightfinder. Forensic WDR technology renders details evenly in strongly backlit scenes and also ensures that few motion artefacts are apparent in busy scenes.
Users can be alerted by notifications such as email when motion is detected by the camera thanks to its configurable video motion detection alarms. Motion detection can also be used to trigger certain tasks such as starting a guard tour or moving directly to a pre-set location to ensure all activity is captured. Shock detection is also included to notify users if the unit is hit, providing reliable, real-time vandalism detection. Moreover, the Axis Camera Application Platform enables users to install custom applications directly onto their camera, allowing them to choose analytics for their precise requirements.
