The AXIS Q3839-PVE is a high-performance multi-sensor camera designed for wide-angle coverage of exposed outdoor areas. It combines four 8.3MP sensors offering seamless stitching of all four images for 180° panoramic views in ultra-clear 8K resolution. Horizon straightening compensates for any physical tilt of the camera for reduced image distortion. Lossless zoom allows you to zoom in on sections of the 180° image without degrading resolution, making it easier to examine fine details. With built-in Axis Object Analytics, it enables accurate detection and tracking of people and vehicles. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR enhance clarity in low-light scenes.
The unit's casing is IP66/67 and IK10 rated for effective protection against vandalism and harsh weather. Adjust each sensor individually during setup with remote motorised pan/tilt/roll functionality, enabling precise alignment for rapid deployment. This camera can be mounted directly to walls and ceilings with the included mount, and runs over PoE for reduced installation costs.
Video Analytics
AXIS Object Analytics enables fast, reliable detection, classification, and counting of people and vehicles—including cars, lorries, buses, and bikes. Powered by dual ARTPEC-8 chips with deep learning, it runs on the edge for quicker alerts and fewer false alarms by ignoring irrelevant motion like animals or wind. Detected objects are colour-coded with bounding boxes, and up to 10 rules such as line crossing or area occupancy can be defined to boost awareness and insights.
This camera also supports other AXIS and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
