The Axis Q1614 indoor network camera is a high-performance fixed CCTV camera, capturing video in HD 720p at up to 60 frames per second for high quality, high frame rate footage. With true day/night capability, this Axis IP camera can capture full colour images during daylight, automatically switching to monochrome image capture at night time for high quality 24/7 surveillance. Axis Lightfinder technology provides the Q1614 with enhanced low light performance, enabling the capture of colour images under low illumination. Easy mobile access to live view and playback via mobile apps is handy and convenient for business owners and managers on the move.

The Q1614 camera can record sound to complement video via two-way audio support which also enables verbal conversation through the camera when a microphone and speaker are added (not included). Installation is made easier by the Axis Q1614's level assistance feature, with a buzzer and flashing lights guiding the installation. An adjustable high sensitive shock detection function enables the camera to detect impact and alert the user, ideal for locations subject to vandalism.

Wide dynamic range enables the Q1614 to cope well with challenging lighting conditions by adapting contrast in scenes where both bright highlight and shadows exist simultaneously. CCTV monitoring using the Axis Q1614 IP camera is reliable and accurate due to intelligent video motion detection with audio and tamper detection. These features enable the camera to alert the user via email and trigger recording to SD card.

H.264 and Motion JPEG compression give the user flexibility with storage and bandwidth usage. Edge recording onto a MicroSD card (not included) maintains smooth, uninterrupted video footage in case of network interruption. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support makes installing the Q1614 quick and easy with reduced cabling costs and power and network connectivity are being fed through a single cable.
