Overview of the Axis P3807-PVE
This high-performance Axis network camera comprises four sensor modules that together, deliver a seamless 180° panoramic overview in 8 megapixel resolution at full frame rate - 24 hours a day. Housed in a vandal-resistant and IP67-rated casing, the unit also features Axis' Zipstream technology, edge recording and simplified installation via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
Offering a 180° horizontal and 90° vertical field of view, the camera's four sensors can also be manually tilted up to 55° to achieve the desired viewing direction. For a complete 360° overview, users can mount two Axis P3807-PVE network cameras back-to-back using the Axis T94V01C Dual Camera Mount - ideal for monitoring crowded areas such as amusement parks.
Forensic WDR is supported, enabling details in high-contrast scenes to be viewed clearly. By ensuring details in both bright and dark areas are not lost, objects and individuals can be more easily identified. The unit also can deliver full-colour viewing in ambient light extremes, using Axis' Lightfinder technology.
A range of configurable video motion detection and tampering alarms are supported to help provide reliable and accurate security monitoring. These alarms can be set to trigger recording to the onboard MicroSD card (not included) and also inform users of potential incidents in real time via email notification.
Axis' Zipstream technology recognises when there is no movement in the scene and lowers image quality, resulting in an overall reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements. Additionally, PoE support simplifies the installation process by delivering both power and network connectivity over a single cable.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
