Part of the P37-series of multi-sensor cameras by Axis, the P3735-PLE offers a cost-effective alternative to a multi-camera system, allowing you to capture four different views, or a 360° overview, in a single unit. Built on Axis’ latest ARTPEC-8 chipset, this camera can make use of its Deep Learning processor and intelligent analytics to improve scene awareness. Securely protected from unauthorised access, the camera features Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform that safeguards sensitive information on the camera. Built with an IP66/67 weather shield to protect it from inclement weather and IK09-rated aluminium casing, this camera is suitable for use in exposed outdoor locations such as train platforms or city centres.

Imaging and Optics

Featuring 4 x 2MP resolution sensors that deliver four video streams each at up to 30 fps, and ideal for wide-area surveillance, this camera can not only produce seamless 360° views but can also be adjusted to deliver a 270° field of view (when mounted on the corner of a building) or four individual views to cover the full 360 degrees.

Each sensor features a 3.2 – 8.1mm varifocal lens enabling you to set the desired viewing angle for each, individually. With flexible positioning, each sensor can be rotated and rolled, which also enables two sensors to be positioned closer together for one to capture the wide view and the other to zoom in on the same target. True day/night video capture is available for round-the-clock monitoring and in light conditions down to 0.14lux. Its Axis Lightfinder technology can produce full-colour video in near darkness, ensuring all details can be seen when the light levels are inadequate. When light levels drop to complete darkness, the individually controllable 360° OptimisedIR LEDs produce clear monochrome imaging with a range of 30m. Additionally, Forensic WDR not only balances out high-contrast lighting but also ensures that few motion artefacts are apparent in scenes with high levels of activity.

Video Analytics

Customisable and highly accurate, Axis Object Analytics is available on this camera, allowing you to detect and classify both humans and vehicles, whilst disregarding false triggers for more precise scene awareness. Enabling up to ten simultaneous detection scenarios, the camera’s detection can be adapted to your requirements. With intuitive metadata collection, footage can be easily searched through for quicker and more efficient investigation.

Designed for cost-effective installation, the Axis P3735-PLE features Zipstream technology to retain the quality of important footage, whilst simultaneously lowering bandwidth and optimising storage requirements. The camera also receives power and network connectivity via a single cable, thanks to PoE support. Remote zoom and focus capabilities allow you to adjust the camera’s view without the need for hands-on fine-tuning. Furthermore, with typical power consumption as low as 6.30W, this camera is able to run efficiently, reducing its impact on the environment and its running costs.
