Part of the feature-packed Axis P32 range, this outdoor dome camera delivers reliable 24-hour video in 5MP resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps). Equipped with Axis’ latest ARTPEC-8 chipset, this unit makes use of a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to provide highly intuitive object detection and classification. Featuring Axis Object Analytics (AOA), the P3267-LVE identifies and categorises objects in the field of view and uses the data to trigger recordings, broadcast audio, or alert users via email notification. Additional features include Lightfinder 2.0, OptimisedIR and Forensic WDR.

Camera

Providing wide horizontal views of 40° - 104°, the unit’s varifocal lens allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. In dark conditions, the OptimisedIR LEDs illuminate at up to 40m around the camera, ensuring clear and detailed video capture, even when light levels are insufficient. Additionally, Forensic WDR technology enhances surveillance in high-contrast conditions using intelligent algorithms to balance light and dark areas of the image.

Imaging

In addition to forensic WDR and OptimisedIR, the camera is also supplied with a range of other advanced imaging technologies such as Lightfinder 2.0 and Defogging. Lightfinder 2.0 intelligently identifies a drop in light level and activates to provide full-colour night vision in situations that would otherwise require black-and-white recording – ensuring no detail is lost. Defogging also prevents the dome from fogging up and obscuring the camera’s view – keeping the footage clear of distortion.

Video analytics

As well as intelligent object detection via AOA, a number of other analytics are available for this camera, including various video motion detection methods that can be configured to enhance dynamic scene awareness and deliver reliable security monitoring by triggering recording or notifying users via email. To enhance scene awareness further, users can also choose to connect a microphone and speaker (not included) through the audio I/O ports to enable audio recording and two-way communication with those close to the camera.

Video management

Basic video management and remote access are available for free using the Axis Companion Application, however, for larger or more complex installations, users can manage their surveillance via a programme such as Axis Camera Station or Milestone XProtect. Furthermore, edge storage (card not included) is available to form a backup, preserving data if the network connection fails.

Installation

The camera’s IP66 weather-resistant casing is also IK10-rated for impact protection, making this dome camera ideal for deployment in exposed areas where tampering or vandalism may be a problem. Installation is simple and cost-effective with features such as Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support, enabling it to receive power and network connectivity over one cable. Furthermore, a range of mounting options is available for this unit, including direct wall and ceiling mounting or additional options such as recess or pendant mounting.
