Capture video in excellent quality up to 4K ultra high-definition resolution with this 8-megapixel box camera from Axis Communications. Tackle poor lighting and shaded areas with Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR delivering true colour footage to ensure you don't miss vital details. Maintain a consistent and smooth video feed with Electronic Image Stabilisation and a high frame rate up to 50 frames per second, ideal for monitoring crowded spaces and high-movement areas. The included P-Iris lens provides a 46°–122° horizontal viewing angle but can be swapped out to meet different requirements, including support for i-CS lenses. Furthermore, installation is made easy with PoE support and the included mounting arm, ready to be fitted indoors out of the box (optional external housing for mounting outdoors). Rely on highly accurate motion and object detection with granular classification thanks to the preinstalled Axis Object Analytics (AOA), enhanced with deep learning.
Video Analytics
Ideal for monitoring indoor environments such as retail stores, the AI-based video analytics delivered by Axis Object Analytics can detect, classify, track and count humans with precision. Run up to 10 scenarios simultaneously including scenarios such as visitor counting, customer flow and occupancy level monitoring, all of which provide valuable and actionable insights into business performance. Set alarms to activate upon user-defined events for greater scene awareness to reduce response times to incidents. Additionally, the granular object classification delivered by AOA and the DLPU minimises false alarms by only alerting users to objects worthy of notification. Search efficently through live and recorded video using metadata for rapid footage retrieval.
This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling wider functionality for the camera to meet more demands.
