Overview of 0343-001 Axis P1347

The Axis P1347 is a HD megapixel network camera designed for installation in critical areas such as banks, casinos and mass-transit terminals. The camera is capable of streaming full HD 1080p at 30 frames-per-second, or up to a 5-megapixel image at 12 frames-per-second, providing a highly detailed image, useful for facial identification. The camera also utilises P-Iris technology to maintain a detailed image in challenging lighting conditions.

The P1347 combines this high image quality with day/night functionality, offering a round-the-clock surveillance solution. During the day, the camera offers a full high-definition colour image. At night, utilising an automatic infrared filter, a black-and-white infrared-sensitive image is provided, ensuring that monitoring of areas is possible in all light conditions.

Alongside this, the P1347 uses digital pan/tilt/zoom to crop the image to the area you want to monitor. Up to 8 of these cropped images can be viewed at one time, allowing you to monitor several areas in detail from a single camera. Built in motion, audio and anti-tampering alarms can trigger recording and notify you via e-mail of any untoward activity. A built-in microphone allows you to listen to an audio feed from the camera.

Power over Ethernet provides a one-cable solution for power and network connectivity, reducing time and costs during installation. To further aid installation, a built-in pixel counter, focus assistant and remote focus features help the installer to ensure that image quality meets user or regulatory requirements.

This camera is compatible with Axis’ free Camera Companion software. Monitor up to 16 cameras over a network using a local PC or downloadable apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Able to record HDTV-quality video directly to an SD card, Axis Camera Companion allows you to future-proof existing systems without the need for additional external storage.
