Overview of 0368-001 Axis P1347-E

The Axis P1347-E is a HD megapixel IP camera designed for installation in critical areas such as banks, casinos and mass-transit terminals. The camera is capable of streaming full HD 1080p at 30 frames-per-second, or up to a 5-megapixel image at 12 frames-per-second, providing a highly detailed image, useful for facial identification. The camera also utilises P-Iris technology to maintain a detailed image in challenging lighting conditions.

The IP66-rated, impact-resistant aluminium casing provides protection from dust, rain, snow and sun, and can withstand temperature ranges from -30 - 50°C (-22 - 122°F). Utilising High Power over Ethernet, the camera can function in temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F).

The P1347-E also offers day/night functionality, providing a 24-hour outdoor monitoring solution. During the day, the camera provides a full high-definition colour image. At night, utilising an automatic infrared filter, a black-and-white infrared-sensitive image is provided, ensuring that monitoring of areas is possible in all light conditions.

Alongside this, the P1347-E uses digital PTZ to crop the image to the area you want to monitor. Up to 8 of these cropped images can be viewed at one time, allowing you to monitor several areas in detail from a single camera. Built in motion, audio and anti-tampering alarms notify you via e-mail of any activity and trigger recording.

Power over Ethernet provides both power and network connectivity in a single cable, reducing time and costs during installation. To further aid installation, focus assistant, remote focus and built-in pixel counter features help the installer to ensure that image quality meets regulatory or user requirements.

Please note: this camera does not come with a power supply. Should you require a Power over Ethernet midspan, please select one from the options above. The camera is compatible with 802.3af (PD-3001) and 802.3at (PD-9001) power standards, but the integrated heater will only operate when connected with 802.3at compliant devices.

This camera is compatible with Axis Camera Companion. This free edge-recording software allows you to monitor up to 16 cameras over a network and record directly to an SD card, helping to save on storage. View HDTV-quality video locally and remotely on PCs and viewing applications for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
