Overview of Axis M5014-V
HD 720p video, PTZ control, IK10-rated vandal resistance and IP66-rated dust and water ingress protection is what you get with this compact, ceiling mountable PTZ dome. Suitable for use in locations which need wide security coverage or monitoring the Axis M5014-V brings high definition, robust protection and full controllability into true affordability.
The M5014-V has IK10 and IP66 protection so is suitable for installation in areas where vandalism is a problem and where there may be moisture or outdoor-like conditions and where a wide coverage area or 360° camera control are desired. Mounted on a ceiling the field of view approximates a 4300 sq.ft. area of coverage, so is ideal for wide open spaces. HDTV colour fidelity and full frame rate at HD720p (1280x960 - 16:9 aspect ratio) and an increased field of view (60°) differentiate this PTZ dome from its non-HD sibling the Axis M5013-V.
Please note: this camera does not come with a Power over Ethernet power supply. Please select one above you do not already have a PoE switch or midspan.

Typical applications
With its IP66 rating the camera is protected against ingress of dust and high pressure water jets from all directions and can be used to monitor indoor and semi-outdoor locations such as school halls, train stations and warehouses where there may be a risk of vandalism. Outdoor use is not recommended since the camera does not have an internal heater and is therefore not suitable for full outdoor installation if the camera would operate outside of its normal operating temperatures.
