Overview of the Axis M3064-V
The Axis M3064-V is an indoor compact fixed dome network camera with a HDTV 720p high definition resolution and premium features such as the latest H.265 video compression, WDR, Zipstream technology and edge recording. Easy to install, ideal for office, retail or indoor public spaces.
The cameras light sensitivity features include WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) which equalises exposure of both very dark and very bright areas of a scene to deliver a uniform image. For viewing in complete darkness, the camera also has an automatic IR-cut filter for capturing video illuminated with IR light when paired with an IR light source.
It includes support for the latest H.265 video compression technology which reduces bandwidth for live streaming video as well as reducing recording requirements, lowering the total cost of storage. Legacy compression formats (H.264 and MJPEG) are also included for flexible integration options.
Pre-installed video analytics include Axis Video Motion Detection and Active Tampering Alarm. Using the camera's Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) these can be extended from a range of available applications such as Axis Motion/Loitering Guard, People Counting, Queue Monitoring and many more.
Recording can be achieved using the built-in MicroSD card slot, for local recording direct to the camera. Support for network attached storage (NAS) is also included and the M3064-V can be integrated into a wide range of recording platforms including Axis Camera Station and Milestone XProtect VMS.
The Axis M3064-V is compact by design with a focus on ease-of-installation. The camera comes factory focused and can be easily levelled and pointed in any direction. Once the view has been set the impact and dust-resistant casing simply snaps on without visible screws and with PoE the installation only needs one cable for both power and data connections.
