This wireless mini-dome IP camera by Axis delivers HD 720p resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps).

Part of the best selling M30 series, it features an ultra compact design for inconspicuous surveillance and can be connected to the network over wireless LAN or Ethernet. Additional features include Axis Zipstream technology and local recording to Micro-SD card.

The unit’s wireless network interface delivers high performance, wide-range transmission and is a popular choice for home users as well as small business applications. It offers flexible installation options and allows the user to easily change the camera’s location when desired.

Images captured in high contrast scenes are improved using wide dynamic range technology (WDR). By ensuring details in both bright and dark areas are not lost, people and objects can be more easily identified. Axis Corridor Format is also supported and optimises viewing in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.

Housed in a palm-sized vandal-resistant casing, this mini-dome provides an unobtrusive surveillance solution in areas that are prone to tampering. The factory focused lens helps save time during installation and the unit’s handy 3-axis mount design enables easy lens adjustment to achieve an optimum angle of view during set up.

Support for Axis’ award winning Zipstream technology helps to lower bandwidth and storage requirements. By analysing the video stream in real-time, this advanced technology ensures important details in the image are retained, while unnecessary data can be removed.

The free Axis Companion application can be easily installed and offers a simple video management solution for up to 16 camera channels. Available as a PC client or mobile application for iOS and android devices, this handy software provides remote access to live views as well as playback of recordings.

Video motion detection and tampering alarms are configurable to help alert users of events and the camera supports a choice of notification methods including email. Motion detection events can also trigger recording using the Axis Companion mobile application.
