Overview of the Axis M1125

Axis M1125 HD 1080p indoor IP camera from the M11 series, featuring Axis Zipstream compression, Wide Dynamic Range ~ Forensic Capture and a DC-iris varifocal lens.

Also supports MicroSD card recording, dual codec, PoE, digital I/O and video motion detection. Supplied with a stand and support for the Axis Companion application.

Part of the affordable Axis M11 series, the M1125 indoor box IP camera delivers high quality, smooth security monitoring in HD 1080p up to 30 frames per second. The CS-mount variofocal lens offers a horizontal viewing angle of between 91° and 32°, providing flexible scene capture suitable for a wide range of applications and requirements. Supporting digital I/O, the Axis M1125 can be connected to external devices to enhance a security system such as PIR sensor or to enable analytics such as heat mapping.

Equipped with a DC-iris lens, the iris opening of the M1125 is automatically adjusted to respond to changing light levels, resulting in sharp image capture. Footage in challenging lighting is improved further by Wide Dynamic Range ~ Forensic Capture technology, which captures detail in very bright and very dark parts of an image, for example by a window. The Axis M1125 provides 24-hour surveillance using an infrared-cut filter to switch the camera from day to night mode.

Operators are alerted to activity and tampering attempts using the cameras advanced video motion detection capabilities including Axis' Active tampering alarm that can detect vandalism attempts such as spray painting or blocking. Users can further investigate a scene using digital pan-tilt-zoom and viewing can be done remotely through smartphones and tablets using the Axis Companion app, ideal for monitoring on-the-move.

The Axis M1125 camera supports Zipstream technology, which analyses video in real-time and continuously optimises the stream to reduce bandwidth by separating areas of interest to maintain at a higher quality than areas of little interest. H.264 and Motion JPEG compression methods are also supported. The M1125 can be installed using Power over Ethernet (PoE) and data can be stored internally to a MicroSD card (card not included), providing low-cost, decentralised recording.

The Axis M1125 is supplied with a white Axis stand for wall or desktop mounting and supports the 16-channel Axis Companion application.
