Overview of 0301-003 Axis M1011-W

The Axis M1011-W is a wireless IP camera well suited for indoor situations where cost-effective and secure installations are required - for example, boutiques, restaurants and small office buildings. Its unobtrusive, compact design and wireless connectivity is suited to placement on a ceiling or on a wall, and it has been designed with quick, flexible and secure camera installations in mind.

A live feed from the M1011-W can be viewed using standard web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Safari - no additional software is required. For situations where recording is a priority, the included Axis Camera Station One software provides a complete solution for playback, viewing and recording out of the box.

Anti-tampering alarm technology and built-in motion detection will notify you by e-mail of any activity and can trigger automatic video recording if required, protecting the premises and the camera. The M1011-W is also capable of compressing video using H.264. This video compression technology reduces the amount of resources required for sending video across a network without compromising on image quality, saving bandwidth and storage requirements, reducing running costs in the process.
