Overview of the Axis M1004-W
The Axis M1004-W is a small and compact network camera with HDTV 720p or 1 megapixel resolution, wireless b/g/n standards support, support for Network Attached Storage (NAS) and which can deliver multiple H.264 streams for live viewing or video recording. Its small and functional design makes installation and setup simple and with a helpful and intuitive user interface using this camera is as simple as using an Internet browser.
The Axis M1004-W is well suited to monitoring in indoor situations where cost-effective and secure installations are required - for example in restaurants, shops and small office buildings. Its unobtrusive, compact design and wireless connectivity is ideally suited to placement on a ceiling or on a wall with little fuss, and it has been designed with quick, flexible and secure camera installations in mind.
The built-in anti-tampering alarm and video motion detection can notify you by e-mail of any detection and can trigger automatic video recording if required, protecting the premises and the camera. Its on-board I/O ports can be used independently for triggering events and activating external triggers such as lights. The camera has full cross-browser support so that the live view and user interface can be viewer using Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer.
