Designed for use in demanding outdoor environments, the D8208-R industrial PoE++ switch is compatible with most Axis PoE-enabled devices, has a total power budget of 480 and provides up to 90W to each of its 8 ports. This powerful unit also features two SFP+ ports with a 10 Gbit SFP+ uplink to enable long-distance installations or to aid the scalability of the system. Able to withstand temperatures between -40 °C to 60 °C, this ruggedised switch is best placed in exposed outdoor areas and can be fitted into an optional TQ1808-VE surveillance cabinet for extra protection. Furthermore, configuration is easy with Axis’ web interface, providing users with a graphical overview of their system and allowing them to manage all devices on their system, monitoring network traffic and cable diagnostics as well as allowing devices to be rebooted when necessary.
