Overview of the Axis C1410 Mk II indoor network mini-speaker

  • All-in-one speaker system with built-in amplifier for broadcasting clear audio
  • Compact and sleek design perfectly suited for indoor applications
  • Integrated PIR movement sensor can trigger announcements or external devices including alarms
  • Axis Audio Manager Edge comes preinstalled for management and control
  • Easily combine with other Axis network speakers for complete audio coverage

The all-in-one design of this compact speaker makes it ideal for delivering audio broadcasts and announcements across indoor settings such as retail stores, offices and commercial buildings. Featuring an integrated PIR sensor, built-in amplifier and Digital Signal Processor (DSP), it can be used to broadcast both live and pre-recorded messages to deliver instructions whilst also acting as an effective deterrent to unwanted behaviour. Additionally, it can be used to play background music when not in use for messaging. The discreet design makes it suitable for mounting in small spaces and narrow corridors, with single cable connection supported by PoE for straightforward installation. Building on the previous Axis C1410 model, the Mk II version includes hardened cybersecurity features such as secure boot, brute force attack protection, and encrypted file system to ensure any sensitive information is not compromised.

Audio Capabilities

The powerful 90dB output and preconfigured DSP ensures high-clarity audio reaches a wide area, perfect for delivering important instructions whilst limiting the number of speakers required for full coverage. External devices such as alarms and lights can be set to activate upon the PIR sensor detecting motion, whilst also notifying operators so they can actively respond to incidents. The internal microphone supports two-way communication and can also be used for remote health testing to ensure the speaker is operating as expected.

Example Use Cases

The compact design means this speaker is delivering audio announcements across smaller indoor spaces, suitable for a number of applications:

  • Retail stores - Deliver safety announcements and instructions, either on a schedule or when movement is detected, deter unwarranted behavior or play background music
  • Waiting rooms - Communicate instructions to staff and members of the public
  • Supermarkets - Broadcast announcements to staff in certain zones, with two-way communication audio enabled
  • Offices - announce mustering instructions for fire drills and alarms or direct incoming visitors
