This midspan is ideal for installations where mains power is not an option, as it accepts both AC and DC power. Compatible with Axis PoE devices which require up to 90W power.
The Axis 90W AC/DC midspan is an ideal solution for powering Axis network devices where mains power is not available. It can supply a power input of either 20-26.4 V DC or 24 V AC, delivering up to IEEE 802.3bt (90W) to your network device.
24 V AC can be used in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not possible, and you need to retrofit box, dome ot PTZ cameras
Use 20-26.4 V DC where a battery back-up is needed, for solar-powered installations, or when the network device is built into another equipment and is powered from it, such as an in ATM.
