The Axis 90W AC/DC midspan is an ideal solution for powering Axis network devices where mains power is not available. It can supply a power input of either 20-26.4 V DC or 24 V AC, delivering up to IEEE 802.3bt (90W) to your network device.
24 V AC can be used in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not possible, and you need to retrofit box, dome ot PTZ cameras
Use 20-26.4 V DC where a battery back-up is needed, for solar-powered installations, or when the network device is built into another equipment and is powered from it, such as an in ATM.
