The Axis 30W AC/DC midspan is an ideal solution for powering Axis network devices where mains power is not available. It can supply a power input of either 10-28 V DC or 24 V AC, delivering up to IEEE 802.3at (30W) to your network device.
24 V AC can be used in harsh environments where new cabling or installations are not possible, and you need to retrofit box, dome ot PTZ cameras
10-28 V DC can be used for solar-powered installations, or when the network device is built into another equipment and is powered from it, such as an in ATM.
