Overview of the Hanwha Vision QND-7010R
This affordable dome IP camera from Hanwha Vision can deliver 4 megapixel resolution at up to 20 frames per second (fps). It supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared illumination (maximum range of 20m) for effective 24-hour monitoring of indoor locations. In addition, the free SmartViewer 36-channel software is supported, as well as remote access via the Wisenet mobile app. The unit can also be easily installed using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
Housed in an IK08-rated casing, the unit offers a viewing angle of 111° which allows wide indoor areas to be monitored with a single IP camera.
Wide dynamic range (WDR) technology helps to improve images captured in challenging lighting conditions by compensating for bright light and dark shadows - ensuring individuals and objects are clearly visible. Hallway viewing mode is also supported and digitally rotates the video stream, allowing the field of view to be optimised for monitoring narrow areas.
Users can listen to activity occurring close to the camera via the built-in microphone in both live view and playback. Audio alarms, alongside tamper and motion detection methods, can be configured to enhance scene awareness and notify users of activity via notifications such as email. These alarms can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording – ensuring all motion is captured. In addition, external devices can be connected through the integrated I/O ports to enhance alarm signalling.
Power-over-Ethernet supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity over a single cable for a quick and cost-effective installation. In addition, WiseStream technology is also included to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements.
