This high-performance network video recorder from Hanwha Vision delivers a feature-rich and user-friendly video management solution for reliable viewing, playback and exporting of video up to 8K UHD resolution, with support for up to 16 Hanwha Vision cameras making it ideal for small-scale applications with high resolution requirements.

A total capacity of 80TB internal storage is spread across a single volume consisting of 8 bays of up to 10TB each, giving users flexibility when it comes to the amount of required storage. Additionally, RAID (5/6) redundancy features provide resilience in case of failure of 1 or more HDDs. Support for AI-based analytics through some capable Hanwha Vision cameras gives object detection and classification, in addition to quick retrieval of searched-for footage by using attribute-based metadata applied to recorded footage.

NVR

Easily configure alarms to trigger when events are detected by cameras, reliably alerting users, in turn reducing response times to potential incidents. This NVR can also be easily integrated into local alarm systems via I/O, for an all-round surveillance system. USB ports offer connection for the included mouse and allow easy video export to external storage, whilst 2 x HDMI ports for dual display to local monitors deliver an all-round PC-less solution. 

Video Management

Basic video management options are provided by the included Wisenet Viewer, which also offers remote access to footage from a mobile device. For a more customisable and advanced solution, Wisenet WAVE is available via subscription which offers a sophisticated approach to video management with applications for all major operating systems. Additionally, the integrated USB ports are used for saving video clips and snapshots to an external device for further investigation, whilst key footage can be bookmarked for greater ease when needing to locate it at a later date.

Video Analytics

Events detected by supporting cameras can be integrated to trigger alarms resulting in e-mails and push notifications being sent, PTZ cameras being directed to the source of concern, or triggering an alarm via I/O. When used alongside compatible cameras in the Hanwha Vision range, their on-board AI-driven analytics can apply attributes to the video which is then saved as metadata (with data such as licence plate numbers and faces), meaning users can then search for these attributes specifically to speed up footage retrieval time. To increase storage efficiency, Wisenet's BestShot feature ensures that only the most suitable images of these classified objects are sent to the server, which minimises bandwidth and overall storage requirements.

Installation

Measuring 438mm x 86mm x 434mm, the standalone desktop form factor means it can be easily integrated into small-scale surveillance systems without the need for extra mounting or rack accessories. The installation wizard and included guide assists the user through a fast and easy setup. Typical applications include cafes, retail stores, dental practices, general medical surgeries.

Please note: This Hanwha Vision NVR does not come supplied with HDDs unless selected. Optional 4 x 6TB WD Purple surveillance-grade hard drives (fitting required) can be selected from the dropdown menu above for internal storage, or the NVR can be purchased as a drive-less unit to use your own HDDs. These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications, and the optional disks are sized to offer adequate storage for basic, small application usage.
