Overview of the Hanwha Vision PNF-9010RV
This outdoor-ready dome IP camera from Hanwha Vision delivers 12MP resolution at up to 20 frames per second (fps). Housed in a vandal-resistant casing, the unit provides up to 15m of infrared night vision - making it an ideal choice for monitoring exposed areas, 24-hours a day. Its hemispheric lens offers full 360° overviews of open plan locations, which helps to ensure footage is captured from all angles and blind spots are eliminated. Additional features include simple installation using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and free SmartViewer 36-channel software is supported, as well as remote access via the Wisenet mobile app.
Various viewing modes such as double panorama and quad view are supported, allowing the original fisheye image to be seen with less distortion. Users can also examine specific areas of the original fisheye image in closer detail using digital pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) controls.
For improved imaging in difficult lighting conditions, wide dynamic range (WDR) technology enables details in scenes with both bright and dark areas to be viewed clearly. In addition, digital noise reduction ensures ultra-low light images have less noise - resulting in a clearer image requiring less bandwidth. This unit also supports defog technology to improve visibility in images captured in fog, haze or smoke.
Users can listen to activity occurring close to the camera via the built-in microphone in live view and these audio recordings can also be listened to during playback. Audio triggered alerts can be used in conjunction with configurable video motion detection alarms to help inform users of activity via email notification. Additionally, these alarms can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) - ensuring all motion is captured.
WiseStream technology recognises when there is no movement in the scene and lowers image quality, resulting in an overall reduction in bandwidth and storage requirements. Additionally, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) supplies the unit with both power and network connectivity over a single cable for a quick and cost-effective installation.
