Designed for use inside IP camera housings, the Highwire Powerstar VHW-HWPS-CBB Backbox by Veracity provides PoE connection over coaxial cabling, reducing installation costs for users switching to IP devices. Installation is straightforward and cost-effective as there is no need to use remote equipment to check the power and connection status with the SafeView LED display. The device is compatible with all Highwire Powerstar Base units and is able to power both PoE and PoE+ IP cameras, offering up to 25W of power using either a PoE/PoE+ switch or a Veracity power supply (selectable from the dropdown menu).
