This cost-effective NVR supports the recording of up to four Wisenet or third-party (via ONVIF) IP cameras. Ideal for entry-level installations with a small number of cameras, this unit supports the free Smartviewer application for remote viewing. Furthermore, the XRN-420S also offers a built-in PoE switch with a budget of 50W, HDMI/VGA outputs and support for two-way audio.
NVR
Supporting 4 camera channels at up to 8MP, this NVR features a straightforward user interface and a choice of either 4TB or 6TB of storage (selectable from the dropdown menu above). In addition, it also offers dual outputs for HDMI and VGA local displays, providing a simple, PC-less solution.
Video Management
As well as supporting basic remote management through the SmartViewer application, the XRN-420S is compatible with Wisenet WAVE video management software to create a tailored monitoring system for a range of different requirements, including a variety of search tools to retrieve important footage. Furthermore, footage can be exported via one of two USB ports for further investigation.
Video Analytics
Users can enhance scene awareness with built-in analytics capabilities including motion detection alarms that trigger alerts via email and recording (including pre/post-event recording) if movement is detected by any of the connected cameras. Moreover, support for audio-based detection is also included (with the connection of an audio-enabled camera) to respond to loud or suspicious sounds in the recording area.
Installation
Setup is straightforward when using the installation wizard and the unit can be easily located upon a desktop, reducing the need for mounting equipment when integrating the camera into an office setup. Compatible cameras are easily connected using a built-in 4-port PoE switch. Additionally, N+1 redundancy forms a backup to ensure that the system is still available in the event of component failure, retaining important data.
Please note: this Wisenet NVR is provided with a choice of one 4TB or 6TB WD Purple hard drive (fitting required). These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications. (Please select storage from the dropdown menu above).
