The PowerDsine PD-3512G rack-mountable power over Ethernet midspan can supply power to up to 12 compatible network devices, such as IP cameras, phones or wireless access points. The midspan is compatible with the IEEE802.3af power standard, supplying up to 15W of power to each device. Data throughput speeds of up to 1000Mbps are available, eliminating data bottlenecks on high-speed networks.

Advanced safety features automatically cut power in the event of a fault, such as a short or cross-wire, and will not supply power to incompatible devices which may cause damage. The midspan can also be mounted into 19" rack cabinets, making installation very quick and straightforward.
