Sleek and modern looking, this unique cover less PTZ dome from Panasonic delivers a diverse range of advanced features designed to deliver clear surveillance of large indoor areas. With a 2.4 megapixel MOS sensor, the Panasonic i-Pro WV-SC588 PTZ dome network camera is able to produce HD 1080p video footage at up to 30 frames per second for high quality monitoring. 360° endless panning and a tilt range of -25° to 205° provides effective coverage of a large area and the 30x optical zoom lens offers display or enlarged images with maintained high image quality for detailed close-up viewing of areas of interest. Electronic Sensitivity Enhancement with true day/night enables colour image capture even in minimal lighting (down to 0.03 lx). If the situation is too dark, the day/night switching function automatically switches the camera from colour to black and white mode for clear 24-hour surveillance. Images are optimised for smartphone and tablet viewing so monitoring can be done whilst away or even in transit.

The i-Pro WV-SC588 dome features high-end imaging technologies to optimise video footage. Panasonic Super Dynamic technology corrects illumination differences in images to make objects appear in more natural conditions for easier viewing. The technology also detects human faces and makes them easier to identify. 3D digital noise reduction ensures noise captured in low light environments is prevented to produce clearer, polished images whilst fog and smoke compensation improves detail visibility in images captured in haze, fog and smoke. Progressive scan technology prevents blur when the camera captures movement, so video data is smooth and clear.

The Panasonic WV-SC588 dome has the ability to provide reliable and effective security monitoring through full duplex bi-directional audio which can enable interactive conversation between the camera site and monitoring site to give instructions or warnings to intruders (microphone and speaker required, sold separately); this feature also enables audio recording for enhanced video data. Further secure monitoring is made possible through the video motion detection system which consists of 4 detection areas, 15 sensitivity steps and 10 detection sizes to detect activity which can trigger alarms to alert the user. Using the PTZ features of the camera, advanced auto tracking effectively tracks motion to ensure relevant video is captured.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) support provides quick and easy camera installation and enables cabling over longer distances than traditional methods. Local storage onto an SD card (not included) can record images when an alarm is detected or if network issues cause a loss of communication between the camera and centralised recording device.
