The Panasonic WV-SF342 indoor, vandal-resistant IP camera is useful for monitoring locations where capturing a high level of detail, particularly for facial recognition, is required. A highly-sensitive MOS sensor allows the camera to capture highly-detailed SVGA resolution footage, with Face SuperDynamic technology to optimise facial exposure, ensuring clarity for identification.

Features such as Wide Dynamic Range, Adaptive Black Stretch and simple day/night ensure a clear image even in poor light conditions. The Focus Assist feature speeds up installation with visual feedback for installers, while Power over Ethernet reduces the wiring required.

Two-way audio compatibility allows for interactive communication between users and those in the camera view, allowing intruders to be challenged remotely. The camera is also able to record to SD cards in its on-board slot (SD card not included), providing a backup recording option in the event of network failure.
