Overview of the Panasonic WV-SC384 outdoor bundle
This outdoor bundle comprises a Panasonic i-Pro WV-SC384 PTZ camera and a Videotec DBH18 Medusa external housing. The Medusa housing is weatherproof and temperature-controlled to protect the camera, while with HD 720p resolution, 18x optical zoom and 360° coverage, the Panasonic camera provides sharp image detail for coverage of wide open areas, reducing the number of cameras required to cover the same area.
Part of Panasonic's SmartHD range, the camera features Adaptive Black Stretch and Wide Dynamic Range to see detail in high contrast lighting, while 3D noise reduction and simple day/night switching improve the clarity of low-light video for easier identification. The camera's integrated Face Super Dynamic system also improves facial definition in harsh lighting by adjusting image exposure when it detects a face. A range of mounting brackets is also available, providing flexible mounting options for a variety of surfaces (selectable above).
The i-Pro WV-SC384's internal SD memory card slot improves redundancy by recording video locally in the event of a network failure. Additionally, operators can challenge intruders using the camera's 2-way audio system, reducing the risk to security staff.
Please note: A range of mounting brackets are available and can be selected above. This bundle does not come with a power supply. Should you require a Power over Ethernet midspan, please select one from the options above. The housing's fan and heater are powered by 240V AC and do not require a power adapter. We recommend this camera bundle is installed by a qualified electrician. Additionally, the Panasonic i-Pro WV-SC384 IP camera is available separately.
