Overview of Panasonic WV-NW484S
The Panasonic WV-NW484S is a fixed-dome IP camera designed for use in areas prone to vandalism such as bus and train stations. Its IP66-rated casing deters vandals and protects the camera from dust and water in outdoor environments. Alongside this rugged design, progressive scan technology eliminates distortion and motion blur from images, and auto-image stabilisation steadies the image against vibrations caused by the camera's surroundings.
Built-in motion detection can trigger recording and inform you via e-mail of any untoward activity. Recorded footage can either be stored remotely or on the camera itself using an SD card (not supplied). As well as this, the WV-NW484S offers day/night functionality, maintaining a surveillance presence even in extremely low-light conditions.
The WV-NW484S also features Power over Ethernet, which provides both power and a network connection to the camera through a single cable. This simplifies installation and reduces time and cost of implementation.
