The Panasonic WV-NP502 IP security camera is ideal for installation in critical areas where a highly detailed image is required, such as airports, banks and industrial sites. The WV-NP502 is capable of providing a 3-megapixel image, suitable for applications such as facial identification or monitoring of busy areas. Alongside this detailed image, the camera employs Panasonic's Super Dynamic technology. This gives the image a wide dynamic range, ensuring that people and objects are visible in both highlighted and shadowed areas of the camera's field of view.

The WV-NP502 also features built-in motion and face detection alarms, which can automatically inform you via e-mail and trigger recording of any untoward activity. Footage can be stored on the camera itself using an SD card (not supplied), or remotely, as required. As well as this, the WV-NP502 is capable of providing two-way audio, enabling you to communicate with, and listen into, the camera's surroundings.

The WV-NP502 is a Power over Ethernet camera, meaning both power and a network connection can be supplied to the camera through just one cable. This significantly reduces time taken and costs incurred during installation. The WV-NP502 also has 3 alarm inputs, enabling you to expand the camera's feature set to create a bespoke security solution for your particular requirements.
