The Panasonic i-Pro WJ-NT304 video encoder is designed to adapt up to 4 analogue surveillance cameras for use on an IP camera. It is designed to facilitate CCTV coverage in large areas that require multiple cameras such as airports, industrial sites or factories.

The encoder supports 2-way, half-duplex audio communication, allowing the user to verbally communicate with people on site, and warn of intruders. Motion detection lets the server trigger events or recording whenever motion is detected in the cameras view, reducing the removing unnecessary recordings or alerting users via FTP and email.

In event of a network error, the server can continue providing surveillance with footage can be store to an SD memory card (not included). The server is also compatible with Panasonic analogue PTZ cameras and can pan, tilt and zoom them through the coaxial cable, making it much easier to integrate the encoder with equipment. For third-party cameras, the server provides an RS485 port so that users can move cameras remotely using the web interface.
