Overview of the Mobotix M24M-IT-NIGHT

The Mobotix M24M-IT-NIGHT IP camera produces infrared-sensitive monochrome video, making it ideal for low-light surveillance where conventional colour cameras would struggle. The IP66-rated casing with wall and ceiling-mount brackets make it ideal for outdoor use, while the integrated speaker and microphone lets users hear events and speak with people on site without the need to connect additional peripherals.

The built-in edge-recording system stores video in the camera, which comes with a 4GB MicroSD card - can be upgraded to 32GB, or can store video to networked hard drives should long retention periods be required. Recordings can be made continuously or using the event detection system, triggering based on motion, temperature, audio or a combination of multiple events.

The camera comes with mounting hardware included and supports Power over Ethernet, so can be installed quickly and easily with basic hand tools. Free video management applications can also be downloaded from the Mobotix website, ideal for monitoring large-scale surveillance systems with no need for expensive software. The M24M-IT-NIGHT is also compatible with Macintosh operating systems.
