Overview of the IPS8264P

The LILIN IPS8264P has 26x optical zoom which allows the user to zoom in and maintain high image quality. The IP66-rating of this network camera means it can withstand rain and dust and operate in temperatures from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to 122°F) therefore durable for outdoor use all year round.

The IPS8264P IP camera comes complete with a variety of image enhancement features such as 3D noise reduction and digital image stabilising. Wide dynamic range captures both light and dark areas in a single frame and, using different exposures for different areas, making the whole image clear and good quality. This quality is enhanced further through the use of high light compensation; this reverses excess bright spots and produces images that are optimally exposed.

Auto touring can be set up on the LILIN IPS8264P; this can have up to 128 pre-set positions which can be recalled within an accuracy of 0.25°. 16 of these pre-set positions can be divided into 4 groups which can be individually configured for speed and dwell time. This feature is useful as it eliminates the need for constant manual surveillance, which can be costly. Built-in motion detection can identify movement whilst the camera is auto touring which then raises an alarm to warn the user. Privacy zones can be added to tours so sensitive areas in view of the camera are not recorded.

Android, iPhone and iPad are all supported so viewing and recording playback can be done whilst mobile.

The LILIN IPS8264P is used for outdoor surveillance of a large area which can be optically zoomed in on for detail and event analysis, for example large car parks can be viewed as a whole but individual cars can be zoomed in and focused on without losing any image quality or detail. It could also be used for other large outdoor areas such as CCTV at railway stations or observation of building grounds.
