Overview of the i-PRO WV-S3531L

This outdoor-ready dome IP camera by i-PRO delivers HD video surveillance at up to 60 frames per second (fps) - 24 hours a day. The unit's compact design makes it ideal for unobtrusive surveillance and the vandal-resistant casing offers protection in exposed locations that are prone to tampering. Additional features include Super Dynamic technology, a built-in microphone and simplified installation via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

The unit’s 108° horizontal angle of view provides optimum scene coverage of wide outdoor areas. It also supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 15m) for effective round-the-clock monitoring.

Advanced imaging technologies such as Super Dynamic and Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS) technology help extend dynamic range for clearer images in challenging light conditions. Image clarity is also improved by Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, which automatically adjusts key camera settings such as ISO and shutter speed to match real-time recording conditions – resulting in reduced motion blur.

A range of video motion detection methods can be configured and up to four programmable video motion detection zones are available – enhancing dynamic scene awareness. When motion is detected in a specified area, alarms can be set to trigger recording to the onboard MicroSD card (not included) and also inform users of activity via email notification. Additionally, support for audio in this unit is provided with a built-in microphone – enabling users to listen in and to record audio in the camera's surroundings.

Auto Variable Image Quality on Specified Area (Auto VIQS) technology is included and allows up to eight user-defined areas of the image to retain a higher image quality, while excluded areas will be compressed – lowering total bandwidth and storage. Additionally, PoE support simplifies the installation process by delivering both power and network connectivity over a single cable.
