This outdoor-ready dome IP camera by i-PRO is capable of delivering smooth HD 1080p resolution at up to 60 frames per second (fps). It supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 40m) for effective 24-hour monitoring. The unit also features an IK10-rated housing and can be installed easily in exposed indoor or outdoor areas using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
The camera’s varifocal lens provides horizontal viewing angles up to 108° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. In addition, handy 3.6x optical zooming supports real-time investigation into specific areas of interest.
Super Dynamic and Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS) imaging technologies help to improve the quality of images captured in challenging light conditions. The camera uses Intelligent Auto (iA) mode to reduce image distortion by monitoring scene dynamics and motion, then automatically adjusting key camera settings in real-time; this can be particularly helpful in scenes with high levels of activity.
Up to 4 configurable video motion detection areas are available to help enhance scene awareness and deliver reliable security monitoring. When motion is detected, these alarms can also be set to trigger certain tasks such as email notifications or local recording to an SD card. Built-in alarm and audio I/O ports allow the connection of external devices that can enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio.
i-PRO's Variable Image Quality on Specified Area (VIQS) technology is included and allows up to eight user-defined areas of the image to retain a higher image quality whilst the remainder of the image is streamed in lower quality, helping to reduce image file size and bit-rate. Additionally, PoE support delivers power and network connectivity to the camera over a single cable for cost-effective installation.
