Designed to provide robust and intuitive indoor monitoring, the i-PRO S2236LA is well-suited for use in factories and warehouses with its IK10-rated shock-resistant casing and its ability to capture 2MP resolution video at up to 60fps, making it easier to clearly see fast-moving objects such as products on a conveyor belt or moving machinery. Available in smoked dome and black variations, this versatile camera can blend into most environments for a discreet monitoring solution. It is equipped with edge-based AI analytics and supports up to two applications at once, enabling you to accurately detect and classify objects as well as intelligently analyse their behaviour for better scene awareness and notification. Furthermore, the camera features an IR-cut filter to enable round-the-clock monitoring, which is further enhanced by its colour night vision and IR illumination capabilities.

Imaging and Optics

Able to produce clear HD1080p video in a range of conditions, the i-PRO S2236LA is engineered for 24-hour monitoring of indoor spaces prone to difficult or changeable lighting. Full-colour night vision is possible down to 0.007lux, and when light levels drop below this, the IR LEDs engage to capture clear monochrome footage with an illumination range of up to 70m from the camera. Low light video capture is also enhanced by a handful of imaging technologies such as intelligent Auto (iA) to adjust camera settings and reduce motion blur, and noise reduction that minimises noise and graininess, resulting in better image clarity. You can easily set your desired viewing angle at installation with the 2.9 - 9mm varifocal lens, allowing you to choose between horizontal views of 36°–114° and vertical views of 20°–60°. Using Corridor Mode, you can vertically orientate the video stream to help maximise area coverage and reduce bandwidth when monitoring areas such as hallways or aisles. Additionally, Super Dynamic WDR technology is also included to retain the level of detail across images with high-contrast lighting, whilst fog compensation improves visibility in areas with fog, steam or dust.

Video Analytics

In addition to the standard video motion and scene change detection alarms, this unit is equipped with support for edge-based AI analytics. With the ability to accurately detect and classify humans and vehicles, sending notifications via email or integrated VMS when key objects are identified. The unit’s built-in I/O ports also allow the connection of external devices to help enhance alarm signalling. Not only can the S2236LA detect objects, but it can also analyse behavioural data to let you know if a pre-designated occupancy limit is reached, or it can provide dynamic privacy masking that covers moving subjects. Moreover, If used with Milestone XProtect VMS, this camera can make use of the Active Guard plug-in to collect metadata and enhance forensic search capabilities, saving time when trying to find a specific individual or object in recorded footage.
