Designed for small to medium-sized businesses that require reliable imaging at an affordable price, the i-PRO U2530LA is suitable for outdoor use, delivering natural colour imagery in all light conditions. Both weather and vandal-resistant, this compact dome camera captures clear 2MP (HD 1080p) resolution video during the day, and at night with either Colour Night Mode or IR illumination. Fitted with IR LEDs for up to 30m of visibility in complete darkness, this camera also features advanced imaging technologies such as the aforementioned colour night vision and Super Dynamic WDR to provide optimum image usability in a range of conditions. Additionally, bandwidth used by the camera is optimised with H.265 Smart Coding technology, helping to reduce bandwidth usage and storage used in any NVR or VMS the camera is used with.

Imaging and Optics

Using its 3.2mm fixed-focal lens, the camera is able to capture a wide horizontal viewing angle of 97° and a vertical angle of 53°. When monitoring narrow areas such as hallways or alleys, the camera has Corridor Mode allowing the lens to be rotated and a vertically oriented image to be set, maximising the coverage and reducing the amount of redundant pixels captured. The U2530LA is equipped with a 2MP sensor that captures images at up to 30 frames per second, even in difficult light conditions. In extremely low lighting, the camera can still obtain full-colour video, thanks to its colour night vision capabilities, and any motion blur or noise associated with challenging light conditions is reduced using its intelligent Auto (iA) feature and noise reduction, improving the chance of identifying subjects at night. When light levels dip below 0.006 lx, the IR LEDs engage, providing clear monochrome video, even in complete darkness. Moreover, the effects of over and under-exposure are reduced with Super Dynamic WDR (up to 120dB), a useful technology that balances out contrast to ensure details can be seen.

Video Analytics

Video motion and scene change detection methods can be configured to alert you, via email or VMS, of possible incidents in real time. When events are detected, a recording trigger can be activated, enabling video to be written to the storage media of your choice.
