Overview of the Hikvision DS-7716NI-K4/16P

This network video recorder by Hikvision offers a basic recording solution for up to 16 cameras. The 4-bay NVR is able to house a maximum of 24TB storage and is an ideal choice for medium-sized organisations. It also includes a built-in Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch, which can deliver PoE to a total of 16 cameras. Audio support is included, alongside an integrated HDM output for local display.

This entry-level model supports the recording and monitoring of multiple IP cameras at a maximum resolution of 8MP. Featuring a basic web-interface, users can configure various camera and system settings to help enhance security monitoring. Recordings can be set to run continuously, during scheduled time periods or in response to an event/alarm signal. In addition, recordings can be easily retrieved using the Smart Search feature; then exported via the built-in USB ports onto an external storage device.
