Overview of the Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P

This affordable network video recorder by Hikvision offers a basic recording solution for up to 4 cameras - making it suitable for small organisations. It provides a maximum of 6TB storage and also features an integrated Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch, which is capable of delivering PoE to a total of 4 IP cameras. Audio support is also included, alongside an integrated HDMI output for local display.

This unit supports the recording and monitoring of multiple IP cameras at a resolution of up to 8MP. It features a basic user-interface, which allows range of camera and system configurations to be set. Users can schedule recordings to run continuously, as a result of an alarm or during specific time frames such as night-time recording. Additionally, recordings can be retrieved and reviewed easily with the Smart Search feature; then exported via the integrated USB ports onto an external storage device.
