Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2443G0-IW

This wireless network camera by Hikvision delivers 4 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps). The unit also supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by integrated infrared (IR) illumination (maximum range of 10m) - for smooth video capture of indoor areas in low light. Additional features include edge storage, two-way audio and remote access via Hikvision's free iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The camera provides a horizontal viewing angle of 98°, enabling wide area of the scene to be captured. Imaging technologies such as 3D noise reduction and wide dynamic range (WDR) are also included to help deliver clearer imaging in difficult lighting conditions. Configurable video motion detection alarms help to alert users of activity through notifications such as email and can also trigger recording to the on-board MicroSD card (not included). In addition, the built-in microphone and speaker enables two-way communication between the user and those close to the camera.
