Installations which can benefit from the additional capabilities of IP audio added to their existing speaker systems can take advantage of this cost-effective audio module from Hanwha Vision. Equipped with a built-in amplifier, the module can power passive and analogue speakers whilst facilitating network connection via PoE/PoE+. The included Wisenet Audio Management System provides a user-friendly interface for configuration and scheduling of audio announcements and background music. Integration with Wisenet VMS helps operators respond faster to events detected by network cameras, allowing them to audibly address concerns such as unwanted behaviour and intruders. Additionally, on-board storage is supported with a microSD card (not included) where audio files can be uploaded to the software to create a personalised IP audio library.
Audio Capabilities
Equipped with a built-in 10w Class D amplifier, the module is capable of adequately powering passive speakers, however an additional analog amplifier can also be connected to facilitate greater volume levels. The built-in embedded microphone allows users to perform sound status health checks to maintain the effectiveness of their system.
Recording and Audio Management
On-board microSD card support allows users to upload audio files to develop a personalised library tailored specifically to their application for clip playback or audio soundscape. Seamless integration of the included Wisenet Audio Management System with Wisenet VMS enables audible alert messages to be played upon detection of events by cameras within the network.
