The Bosch VIP-X2 is an ultra-compact IP video encoder which will convert incoming analogue video from up to 2 camera sources into digital signals for broadcast over IP-based networks such as a local area network (LAN) or remote viewing across the Internet.

The VIP-X2 offers digital benefits found in IP camera technology such as motion detection routines based on MOTION+ technology which will alert the user by email if activity was detected within a scene and remote access allowing you to view your live images from any remote computer which is connected to the Internet.

Ideal for small business security the video encoder provides multiple recording options from integration with network video recorders to a local USB recording solution. You have the flexibility to decide how and where you want to store your images. Like all products on offered by Network Webcams, the Bosch VIP-X2 has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
