The Bosch VIP-X1AP is a compact video encoder which enables live video from 1 analogue CCTV camera to be digitized for broadcast over IP digital networks. As well as remote monitoring, digital IP benefits include motion detection recording and anti-tamper security features.

The VIP-X1AP includes 2-way audio support which allows you to not only listen-in to sounds at the video encoder’s location but also communicate directly with people using attached speakers and a microphone (not supplied). With Power over Ethernet support the device can be installed using a single Ethernet cable. This makes installation quick, easy and cost-effective and it allows you to place the encoder in areas where there are no power outlets.

Flexible recording options enables recording to a USB storage device, iSCSI networked devices or a network video recorder. This allows you to record to a number of locations, even without the need for a network connection. Like all products on offered by Network Webcams, the Bosch VIP-X1AP has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet.
