This outdoor-ready PTZ IP camera from Bosch delivers high-quality HD 1080p resolution video round-the-clock, at up to 60 frames per second (fps). This model features full pan/tilt functionality with 360° endless pan and powerful 30x optical zoom, and a model with integrated IR LEDs is also available (select from the dropdown menu) which provides up to 180m of night vision. Other useful features include Bosch’s Starlight technology for improved low-light performance, support for Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) and Bosch’s Essential Video Analytics.

Camera
Using variable pan/tilt movements, including an endless 360° pan, users can navigate precisely across wide outdoor areas and the unit’s powerful 30x optical zoom allows detailed examination into areas of interest in real-time. True day/night recording is supported, and the camera can be equipped with integrated IR LEDs that help to enhance night vision at a distance of up to 180m (model dependent). Additionally, built-in audio I/O ports allow the connection of an external microphone and speaker (not included) for two-way audio capability.
Imaging
Bosch’s Starlight technology enables this unit to capture full-colour images in light levels as low as 0.0186 lux by utilising an advanced sensor and high-performance noise reduction technology. Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (IDNR) also helps to deliver clearer images in dark conditions by reducing the level of noise commonly seen in low-light images. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology is also included and ensures the capture of image details even in strongly backlit scenes – ensuring objects and individuals can be clearly seen.
Video analytics
Essential Video Analytics (i-LIDS approved) is an edge-based technology that provides a wide range of configurable alarms to help deliver dynamic and accurate surveillance. It offers 14 rules and a maximum of 8 rules can be processed simultaneously. Detailed metadata is also recorded during image capture – enabling the quick retrieval of specific footage from hours of stored video. In addition, thanks to the unit’s built-in I/O ports, external devices can be connected to help further enhance alarm signalling.
Video management
Integrated microSD storage (card not included) provides a backup of data if the network fails and users can remotely access live views and recorded playbacks through the free Bosch Video Security mobile application. For more sophisticated video management, the camera can be integrated with high-performance third-party VMS applications such as Milestone XProtect.
Installation
This pendant-mounted PTZ unit features PoE+ support, which helps to simplify the installation process by providing power and network connectivity over a single cable. In addition, the camera’s IP66-rated casing enables durable use in outdoor locations.
