Coming soon, the number of cameras you will be able to add to a Milestone XProtect Express+ video management system will increase to 100.
The increase to 100 devices, from 48 currently, will happen on 24th August 2026. New XProtect Express+ customers as well as existing Express+ users will benefit immediately and be able to grow their CCTV systems beyond 48 cameras without having to upgrade to a different, more costly Milestone product. XProtect Express+ software versions 2019 R2 or newer will be supported.
The extended system capacity will come at a cost increase from £61 per device license currently to £85 per device license when the expanded XProtect Express+ product is launched on 24th August 2026.
This change means Milestone is repositioning XProtect Express+ in the market. Whereas it has always been Milestone's entry-level product suited to small CCTV systems only, the well-featured Express+ will now become attractive for mid-sized CCTV systems up to 100 devices also.
